How would you like to zip through the air at ease from an unlimited amount of web from your wrist? Be able to shoot that same web at any given moment in any direction? And wear a cool costume? (Even thought it gives you wedgies sometimes.) Yes as you might have figured out by now I'm talking about Spiderman, but that isn't my topic for this paper. My topic is about responsibilities.
Like what I was talking about might seem like a care free life, zipping through the air with super human powers, but it isn't just all fun and games. It is full of the many responsibilities that we all go through and even more, cause of his responsibilities for his new powers.
Spiderman is basically a movie about where Peter Parker ( Spiderman) gets bit my a new "super" spider breed, and mutates to a human with spidery powers. Then he goes throughout the movie saving people anywhere from your normal run of the mill gangsters, to the full fledged evil mutant. But the real responsibilities are ones he put on himself. Like at the end where the green goblin is giving him the decision to either let the loved of his life die, or 20 kids on a cable bus die. Which is the bigger responsibility? Could you decide?
Now we all know that in the end he swoop's down and save them both but that’s not the point, the point is the fact that responsibilities come in all shapes and sizes.
Now I am going to tell you about a few different types of responsibilities. What makes the minor or major? And what are my choices in my responsibilities? Here I’ll give you a few examples and the answers to your questions.
Babies are just one of the responsibilities that married people must attend to as they go throughout their life. Other minor things we need to attend to are things such as a left on stove, a hot iron, and your home work (for some of us) are just a few to the thousands among thousands of responsibilities in our life.
Everyone will end up having to make some minor and major choices in your lifetime. Some of the major ones could be walking out on the meeting at work to run home to take your kid to the hospital or maybe asking to get and extra day off just to go home and spend some time with your kids.
Some of the minor ones could be to using the vanilla scented candles versus the peach scented ones on your wife’s day off, or just choosing to enroll your kids in soccer or football.
But responsibilities are not determined by the enlargement of the problem like to buy the 80,000 dollar car for you son versus the 85,000 dollar car but by the urgency. Like cleaning the house. Not a big responsibility but when the boss is coming over in a half an hour to talk about your possible promotion at work it quickly be comes urgent and a major responsibility. These types of responsibilities are a factor which could effect the rest of your life.
Now there are ways in which you could help lessen the affect of these responsibilities in your life. Like with the meeting versus taking kid to hospital responsibility. If you stay at meeting you keep your job and make money. But if you do your child may get a infection which makes you have to spend more money on him and it may require him to take a pill or redo a bandage or something like this every few hours for the next few days, month, or even years. See new responsibility, And on top of that you not coming and just leaving him thier could cause him to dislike you maybe even hate you.
But if you help him it could cause you to lose your job, and have to go out on the street, or work two jobs just to make ends meet. But in positive side you wont have the responsibility of changing his Band-Aid as much, or maybe he wont lose the leg or arm with the infection.
But most of us won’t think of that 3rd and most rewarding possibility which can help with both ends. But don’t forget whatever you do there is a good and a bad.
Like in the scenario I talked about. The 3rd choice would be you could call your husband/wife or a friend and ask her/him to take the child to the hospital therefor your child keeps all his limbs, and you keep your job.
That leaves you sitting there thinking you beat the game but don’t forget everything you do something negative happens also. In this your kid may not like you as much cause he thinks you were too busy to try and help him and your boss is mad that you were on the phone twice during the meeting, but as a positive your kid wont hate you
There are other types of responsibilities though like with Spiderman does he choose to ignore his powers, and therefore have the ability of marrying the love of his life. Or does he continue with the responsibilities of a super hero and not have that option? This is a greater and perhaps the biggest responsibility of all which may have no or little 3rd choice available, at leased not a good one. In turn he decided to marry M.J. and be Spiderman. All positives huh? No the negative is that he will always have that little bug in the back of his head that wants him to keep M.J. safe.
I am nearing the end of this report and the final thing I want to teach you is listen that’s it just listen listening can make your life worlds easier.
